new toy

hey people...so much is going on now days for me....too much not to take pictures of...so i've decided that i need a new toy....yay...lol...

finally worked up the courage to buy it...lol...cant wait...
just think bout it..that guy in the water ski can be you...haha...

coolest person ever!!!

okay...well today...i spent my whole day hanging out w/ the coolest person ever....my aunt...she is 103 years old and turning 104 this new year…happy early birthday auntie...i know...she is so cool, she has live in like 4 different generations...she has great grandchildren that are as old as 17...she has live in 3 different countries...vietnam, loas and the US...she has seen everything from the good old days where all you did was farm to the horrors of war in Asia to the struggle of the American dream...she has seen it all…today I learned a lot about my family history…also how the war affected the hmong people…she is such a strong women…she has endure a lot…she tells me of stories of running through forest...crossing patoua lake (a dammed up river)…crossing the Mekong river..of how the Mekong was so big, there was two channel that she had to cross…she talks about how she is still sad to this day of how she left her pigs locked up when she fled…and the pigs probably died from hunger…how when they ran they from the viet con and they set their horses loose as they ran back and they can hear the cries of the horses righting in the distance…plus she told me stories of my dad when he was a child and how good he was at being a house sitter since he was the youngest…also about how back in Laos, only one son out of the family got to go to school…I look to today's world…we all have the opportunity and we decide not to take it…I asked her about my many relatives and she knows them all as a child and adult…we talked about so much today…we also laugh about how both her granddaughters tricked her to watch movies so they can sneak off to get married…there is so much more too…I plan to interview her soon so I can capture her life store for myself and everyone else…as of right now she is in the hospital...been there Christmas eve due to heart problems…but she has recover since then…today she was talking like a teen again…I pray that she gets better soon..i talked to the doctor today and she should be good to come home tomorrow…God, I pray that you be with my aunt…tomorrow I plan to spend another day with her to watch her while she is in the hospital and I cant wait to hear what else she has to tell me…

Okay…another part of the craziest week…

Gave blood for the first time today …I know scary stuff…I was okay all the way to the part of sitting on the bench getting ready to get poke by that needle…lols….that was very scary…haha..i now know why I never gave blood before…so sitting there all nervous and stuff…iono why but I became very giddy…lols…I think the nurse was annoy by all my questions about am I going to die and stuff…haha…but I didn't care…so finally I got stick w/ the needle…blood starts rushing out cause I'm so tense and nervous…I was squeezing the squeezer very hard w/o even knowing…lols…the nurse was like calm down son…haha..then jeff comes over to talk to me and he was like dang Q, that's a lot of blood…which made me more nervous and uncomfortable, I was ready to run out…haha…foreals…not to scare anyone but I can feel blood rushing out of my body...which made me more nervous…which speed up the whole process…in less then 10mins I was out cause blood was rushing so fast..haha…
that 10 mins felt like an hour…haha…but the whole time I was giving blood I was cracking up and stuff….

b/c while I was on the bench, I remember a girl walked by and they ask if she would give blood, she said she didn't weigh enough….i then thought to myself…what if you weight too much..lolz….then 5 mins later peng comes over and said he got rejected cause his blood pressure is too high...i  bust out laughing…haha…the nurse was more annoy by now…haha…but all in all I got out of it w/ a free cool tshirt and some snacks….plus I'll know what my blood type is now…

never thought you could get rejected for giving out blood…lol…

Okay…craziest week so far….

Sunday night, I ran across this blog about getting 700 off a 1000 hdtv at best buy….i was ready to sleep by 10 but I ended up staying till 12 reading forums about how to pull of the deal….haha…its crazy how I read 20 pages of blog that night about the deal…

Monday morning…count even stay focus in class…was thinkin too much about my tv…lol….right as peng got to school…lets say 10am…I made him go w/ me to bestbuy….while there I almost chicken out…haha…but peng wassant ready to back down yet so I pulled together and pulled it off and bought 1500 worth of tv stuff….
$999-600savings=$399 westinghouse 42" 1080p hdtv
$499 surround sound system
$299 hd dvd player
$200 installation
now after buying the stuff was the funny part…so I pulled my car around and it was like how the heck are was I going to fit all this in my sedan…lol….so I fought to put my tv in the back seat…and fought to put the sound system in the passenger…and the dvd sit nicely under the tv, but on problem….big sub box in the trunk…only room for one person, two of us…

So b/c it was my tv…we drove to the back of the parking lot….made sure no one was looking and I hop in the trunk really quick…haha…hopeing no one say…lol….crazy…the trunk wassant that bad…haha….

Got to osu at 12 noon…sat around till 5ish and return the sound system and hd dvd player to another best buy and now I'm out in the clear w/ 800 bucks back on my card….
crazy how I was going to chicken out…good thing I didn't…haha…I now have my hdtv…I called to cancel the installation today and going back tomorrow to get 200bucks credit back on my account…and I'll be in the clear w/ a hdtv for  $400 bucks…great deal eh….

So I got joe to do it too…good luck joe….

Ever felt that you just got your ass kick...literally....like kicked...haha...welp today i sure did...and its just a computer too...errr...i'm just trying to install this patch onto a this program i'm working on for a class and i've been trying it for like hours...and it just aint fun...it seems really straight forward and easy..but i'm having such a hard tme at it....geeeeseee....yeah just felt like complaining....ttyl peeps....
